In terms of its topography, Kodaikanal is situated on a plateau slightly elevated above the Palani Hills and nestled snugly between the Parappar and Gundar Valleys. The region experiences a subtropical climate, with warm summers where temperatures typically range from 11\u00b0C to 20\u00b0C. During the winter, the minimum temperature drops to approximately 8\u00b0C, with January being the coldest month when temperatures can even reach sub-zero levels. Rainfall occurs from June to September.
